We are very thankful to Dr Shivashankar (Cardiothoracic surgeon) and Dr Ravishankar (Dr Cardiologist) local hosts at Apex Heart Hospital, Thanjavur for organising the recently conducted charity event. We operated on 10 children with congenital heart defects, including three babies of less than 6 months old. Four of them travelled from Sri Lanka for surgery. Surgery covered both complex and simple heart defects in them. We are ever grateful to all those who contributed to continued success of Child Heart Surgery charity
